Hi, I'm Tim Scheidt

I'm a master carpenter and have worked in timber construction for 23 years. I spent two and a half of those years as a foreman in New Zealand and Australia, and another six working directly at SEMA in support and as a training manager. I have planned more than 400 projects using SEMA — from simple roof trusses to complex storey additions and custom structures.

Throughout my work, I've repeatedly seen how much time is lost through poorly structured master data or missing know-how. I know these problems from my own experience — and I know how to solve them in practice.

With TIMber Plan, I make this knowledge available to other timber construction businesses through structured master data, practical training and personal consulting. I continue to take on selected planning tasks and support companies during project bottlenecks. This keeps my work directly connected to current SEMA and timber construction practice.

I also help companies digitalise office processes — from clear workflows and well-integrated applications to automation, AI processes and small custom software solutions.
